The Web of Causses and Gorges of Tarn

In this last Thursday before Easter, our national president, Nicolas Sarkozy and our new Chairman of the Regional Council, Mr George Frêche are in complete disagreement on several issues concerning the political and economic regional development of tourism in Lozere.

Two of these questions, at least conflicting, owed hold our attention more particularly !
For one, it must be taken tough decisions on the regulation of tourism, particularly regarding the proliferation of rural gites, while the other wants to see a full liberalization of the fishery.
According to a survey led by a power team under the direction of Claude Lacanthe, an obscure detective from Marvejols, it seems quite reasonable to limit the number of catering to a maximum of twenty per municipality. It goes without saying that this decision will be far from unanimous feelings and is already beginning to raise shaken waves in trade unions and tourist offices.
Also it goes completely against the development of tourism in the region and the arrangements to accept the tide fishing enthusiasts attracted by the opportunity to fish throughout the year. It would also be given to extending this liberalization to the Herault and Gard. Indeed some rivers of the region, including the Gard, are literally teeming with roaches. An additional influx of fishermen would be welcome to regulate the invasive population.

Although little information has filtered down to us today, we'll try to keep you abreast of developments in this debate whose importance for the future of tourism in the region can not escape us.

It's just that the C. Lacanthe seems no longer exist. Is it only a matter of date and this claimed detective would it be simply a time traveler ?
However he remains untraceable, even though gentlemen Sarkozy and Frêche seem, them, very real !
To end this very scandalous affair, we have begun discussions with an instrumentality manufacturer. This one had finally accepted to conceive us an instrumental engine to avoiding us to be catched by April fools jokes !

While the 4th stage of Paris-Nice arrives in Mende this Thursday, March 11, 2010, we learn that the Tour de France will also cross the Lozere. It seems that the stage of Mende is scheduled for July 16.
The pack of Paris-Nice is expected in Mende between 16 and 19 hours, at the Foirail place. The Tour de France site devotes its pages of news.
We hope that snow and bad weather does not unduly disturb this great race.

Our wish is that you can find here all informations about our gorgeous and magnificent Tarn Gorges country, in Lozere, close to Aveyron, or, at least, some trails to follow to discover it...
